I started this post on the 17th but events got in the way of posting it until now.

Over President’s Day weekend we saw:

  • Billy Elliot – Excellent! Top Notch! Billy Elliot was played by David Alvarez and he was excellent. David Bologna was outstanding as Michael.
  • August: Osage County – Overly long play about a dysfunctional family. The play seemed a bit dysfunctional as well. We were a bit tired and the theatre was overly warm which is perhaps why we didn’t enjoy it as much as we could have.
  • The Marvelous Wonderettes – an Off-Broadway that was very enjoyable. This review sums it up.
