Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1

Microsoft released Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 yesterday. I downloaded and installed it on my test laptop. A few quick observations:

  • It does not correctly render our Microsoft SharePoint site correctly
  • I’m not sure if the emulate IE7 Button does anything. If it does, how do you get back to IE8 mode?
  • When you close IE8 you do not get the option to open these tabs next time you use Internet Explorer.

I suppose I’d best RTFM …

The Road to Know Where and  Paul’s SuperSite blog have links to the downloads.
